As Chaplin talked about in his speech "The Great Dictator", he stated that there should be equality for all. Which there should be a change in a lot of issues for everyone to have equal rights but the one I want to relate it to is gay marriage and homosexuality overall. This is a big issue right now because it isn't allowed in all states which shouldn't be the case. Everyone is human and should have the same rights, even if they have different sexual interests. Chaplin says that we should fight for our liberty, which I believe in. Even if you aren't gay or if you are and want to make a change in the injustice then should stand up and fight against this. We can all relate to not being able to have something that we love and not being able to win a fight against something we are strongly passionate about so we should all be to help and be behind this issue. A modern song that can relate to this is "She Keeps Me Warm" by Mary Lambert.
