The way the media portrays body image really interests me. The fact that "plus size" models are only a size 4 in the modeling industry really bothers me and this has a lot to do with the body image issues for young women. The media portrays men and women falsely in magazines, advertisements, and even films by using unrealistically thin or "fit" actors and models and by heavily using Photoshop. I think I would like to focus on the issues of body image and the effect it has on my generation in my photo journal.
