The episode of South Park that we watched had a bunch of mini themes but in my opinion the overall theme is parents cant try to hard to keep there kids completely innocent, sometimes doing that pushes children to venture out and do new things which could be worse. In this episode the boys are watching a TV show called Terrance and Philip and it is a show that 3rd graders shouldn't be watching. So once the parents saw that they were watching that they would not allow the boys to watch it. so the boys resulted to other stuff. Almost resulted in going to smoke crack. The parents then went to get the show removed off the network. They got it removed but the show they put on instead was worse than the one they just fought to remove. Also another theme is how everyone was dodging the question to kill Stan's grandpa. He asked his teacher, his guidance chef, and Jesus and they all said they would not touch that subject with a 20,40,60 foot pole. This just shows how the adults weren't there for them when needing to make a tough decision. So if parents worried less trying to make their kids perfect and actually listened and talked to them they could get through to them more.
