Blog 4
As usual, I always tend to have a hard time
when picking a certain topic. I was leaning towards beauty, however it seems
like there's a good amount of people who want to focus in that area. Therefore,
after about 45 minutes of looking through random advertisements, I decided to
focus on alcohol. Many advertisements are created to advertise the purchase of
alcohol. I still don’t know whether to focus on how alcohol is promoted or
comparing 3 different types of alcohol. Comparing based on the category of alcohol
they fall into. For example, whether it’s beer, liquor, or wine. Wish me luck!

Don't feel the need to change subjects just because others are doing the same thing. I really don't care if I end up with 30 essays on beauty, so long as everyone is excited about their topic. However, you can probably merge the two interests. Alcohol ads are all about selling a life style--and that life style tends to involve a very specific idea of beauty.
