#6 Revised

A common theme that was displayed throughout the episode of South Park, was the adults lack of communication with the children.  In the episode, there were several occasions where the adults did not respond to the children appropriately.  The parents never sat down and explained to their children why they should not watch a certain television show.  Instead they tried to protest the TV station in the most ridiculous way.  The parents also ignore the children's questions about assistant suicide.  When the children call for help the parents are not really listening to what they have to say and ignore them again.  Also, the teacher, cook, and Jesus will not answer the children's questions about assistant suicide.  Clearly, all the adults in this episode have problems with direct communication when it comes to children.  They are constantly trying to avoid talking to them about problems.  A real life example of this is when parents do not communicate with children and the children respond in a negative way to this.  Lack of communication in a child's life can result in depression, behavior problems and mental problems.  This is why parent to child communication is so important.  A movie that is an example of this is Dead Poets Society. In the movie, a boy does not have a good relationship with his father and is afraid to communicate.  As a result to this, the boy has so much stress and is afraid of disappointment that he ends up committing suicide.  If the boy would have communicated with his father, this probably would not have happened.
