I have decided to use this video called: Always #LikeAGirl for my paper. The reason that I chose this video was because of the way that it fights against gender stereotypes for girls and women, I think this is very relevant to social issues right now because of the rise in equal rights campaigns for women in the United States today. Not to say that there aren't gender stereotypes for men and boys as well, I would just like to focus on women and girls. I would really like to work with this text because as a girl myself I have lived through these stereotypes starting from a young age, and I feel like this is very relevant to today's social issues.
