V for Vendetta is a very dark and explicit film that reveals the faults in a dystopian society.  The clip we viewed in class shows a masked man that is trying to start a new revolution by giving a disturbing speech that racks the mind of every citizen watching.  He begins to explain that the government is corrupted and is using everyone as their own puppets.  But instead of taking notice of the problem, they ignore it and let it happen.  A great example I can compare this to is from the book Anthem by Ayn Rand.  This book is about a society that is broken down into factions of workers (artists, scientists, street cleaners, etc.), until one brave street cleaner decided to explore the unknown of the community.  Now everyone in this society speaks in plural when they refer to themselves.  He found an underground tunnel that revealed inventions and new ideas that were kept from civilization.  He started a revolution and soon "we" turned into "I".
