One of the themes that was displayed in V for Vendetta is blind obedience. In V for Vendetta, the people in the society kind of know what is going on but still follow.  They do this even though it might not necessarily be the right thing to do.  An example of blind obedience from another text, is in the Hunger Game series.  The citizens do as they are told, even though it is unfair.  The just go about doing what they are expected to do without question.  A current event that is an example of blind obedience is WWII when all of the Nazis followed Hitler.  The Nazis followed Hitler's orders even though it was an uncivil thing to do.
