In the video we watched of V for Vendetta, the theme I came across was that free will is being taken away by the government. It has been an issue if whether the world is being controlled by the government or not. In his speech, he speaks out to the people because he thinks that's the only way to get the world's attention about the government and what they're doing. It's about the people acting to fear, instead of actually resolving the issue. This theme relates to the issues now in the world of the government spying on us, spying on our text messages, and what we search up on the internet. This issue relates to a documentary called Citizenfour which is about a man named Edward Snowden who has information and proof on the government spying on the world. This documentary brought so much controversy and it made people question the government. Many people believe it and many think its all lies. It's a big issue,and no one knows if it can be solved or what will happen. It's just another issue of our privacy being taken away and being controlled by our government.
