For my project I will be using the song Around My Way (Freedom Ain't Free) by Lupe Fiasco. The song talks about everything wrong with the society we live in. It is trying to spread awareness and create change by reaching a large audience. It brings up a lot of very controversial issues in its lyrics that people don't want to generally talk about and that is what makes it culturally significant.
