In move "V for Vandeta" V's speech was broadcasted for the whole city to here. In his speech he explained to the people that they were going along with the corruption that was happening in the city. In an oppressive society V was able to go I front of everyone and say there needs to be a change and the only way that is possible is if the people act upon all the corruption set by the dictators in there country. The setting of the city was held in a dystopian city and future. Dystopian cities have very corrupt and dysfunctional problems. In the popular movies and book series " The Hunger Games" the characters are faced with the same problem. The people are obsessed and are treated horribly by their authority figures. Katniss plays the same role as V because they both lead the people to see and act upon the problems bestowed upon then by years of corruption and suffering. In the end they are able to lead the people to a bright future where they are free and have more rights. Both of theses movies exaggerate the current problem we have today of most people being a bystander of bullying and abuse. We all know its wrong and not right but most people do nothing about it. Bystanders do nothing about the problem and by doing nothing they are making the problem even worse. An example of a person that is doing something about bullying is a therapist. The therapist acts as V or Katniss and explains that being abusive is not right and tells the abuser a way to solve their problem.
