Images are shown to me every day and I never really considered any image repelling because I’m very open minded. I believe in the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words”. Every image has a meaning behind them, whether it is about how confident you are in your appearance to how you spend your days. Images are a way of expression and communication. Even if you feel that the image has a negative connotation you still have to respect that person’s opinion. Everyone has different views.
I am perfectly fine looking at any image without discrimination but I do have certain images that I am drawn to more. I am a Recreation, Hospitality and Park Management major under the option of Tourism, so I really like the outdoor type of images. I love looking at images that involve traveling. The type of images that show beautiful cities and towns all around the world. It just makes me want to pursue my major even more. I see them as a motivation and inspiration. I am drawn to a lively, energetic, happy and at time critical thinking type of tones (By critical thinking I mean the images that have beautiful backgrounds and pose questions that get your mind to begin thinking logically).

Since I am very open minded, I don’t have a specific approach to visual media. In my opinion Visual media has the best images but not always greatest meaning behind them.. The quality is excellent and the way it is presented is astonishing. I never really knew the extent an image can be presented.
