1. Exigency
The purpose of this
advertisement is to promote Nike and their products. It is a well know brand,
and it is evident since all it says is “just do it.” As a brand they have been
able to have their symbol of a check mark to be recognized no matter who it is.
The color scheme makes it easy to see the soccer ball apart from the rest of
the field.
2. Audience
This ad was specifically
for anyone who plays soccer, since it’s at a soccer field. Soccer cleats are
one of the many products they offer and they probably want to see more. There are
certain times when certain shoes are more in season than others, and this ad probably
released when the soccer season started, whether it was for a club or school
team.
3. Constraints
I don’t think Nike
really has any constraints. A lot of people know the brand, recognize it, its
symbol, and their slogan. Even people who are not active in sports or are
athletes know the brand since it is seen every day. Perhaps a restraint would
be trying to sell a new product that isn't very popular.
