Its difficult trying to think of what exactly it is that attracts a person to certain things. If i had to give a rough assumption, i would have to say that anything positive is what attracts me. Of course, i mean my own depiction of positivity. If i were to paint an image or produce any type of art, it has to be positive, in the sense that the viewer can relate to it and find their own perspective. You can only imagine what repels me, surely it must be negativity. Anything negative immediately throws me off and disrupts my flow. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is a perfect phrase to describe how visual media works. The media releases anything that they know will attract a lot of attention, this will be done at any cost. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, everyone would be content with seeing what they want to see. Of course, not everyone thinks the same, but either way the media would appeal to a large percentage of people for the most part. I would like to see more of what appeals to the people because even though its a large percentage of people that like something, it could lead to mass innovation. I like seeing a lot of unique ideas because it gives me much to ponder about and makes me pursue diversity in the way i live. I can't think of anything that really turns me off because of the fact that I'm so open minded and willing to try things, and attempt to understand the different perspectives of others. Again, its like innovation, i like hearing the way others perceive things and what they think they about things in general. So far i am a content with what i have seen in the visual media so i can't say much.
